While I’m not going to take this test, I have someone very close to me who is going to take the National Council Licensure Examination. All nurses in the US and Canada must take this test before becoming an LPN or and RN . The questions are mostly multiple choice, which includes questions like this one, “The client has been diagnosed with acute pyelonephritis. How do you explain this to the client?†There are 105 questions like this one and this book explains that section of the test having to do with EKG.

Chase Hassen did an amazing job in writing this eBook because many future nurses will benefit from this eBook. Highly recommended for all nursing students!!!
So far I am in chapter 3, but I have to rate this book. It is very easy to follow along and explain the subjects very well. So if you are like me and struggle with EKG interpretation then I suggest you try it. By the way, I am reading it on my Kindle and I also downloaded on my iPhone so that I will always have it.
This book couldn't have come into my life at a more perfect time! I literally received lecture last week and then thankfully stumbled upon this!! I am a huge fan (as I know many other nursing students are as well) of reading with no fluff. Getting through and Iggy book is daunting to say the least, so finding this gem - I loved reading in this book. Not to mention it was convienently on my phone so with me wherever I went. I would recommend this to other nursing students for sure (as I already have)!
This is an easy to read book. I bought the Kindle edition to study for my exam. There is not a lot of detail in it but it does get the job done; especially for those of us who need to study for exams and understand the difference between one type of arrhythmia and the next. My only problem with this book is that there are enough word errors (using about instead of above) that it makes reading the text a bit distracting. Some of the sentences are awkward and contain unnecessary words. Despite these problems, it is still a quick and easy to understand guide on EKG interpretation
One of the most important, yet daunting tasks in the nursing and medical fields is to learn to recognize, both accurately and rapidly, Electrocardiograms (ECGs). This NCLEX book provides very concise view of Ekg interpretation, good for students for a quick referral. This also presents Ekg topics in an outline form, and the facts stated here are really good and straight-to-the-point. I find this book so helpful in reviewing essential information necessary in passing the exam.
The book is easy to read as facts are stated in a straight forward, concise manner. It's a helpful tool to use in ECG revision and exam preparations. I would recommend it highly for all nursing students who want to rapidly improve their understanding/interpretation of the ECG (especially during exams).
really helps you to break down the rhythms of the heart
It was a refresher to me butbecause I think the edition is older the video link doesnt play.
