Great information BUT! after readig it for 15 minutes many pages fell out like the glue and binding were weak. So I sent it back and exchanged it for another new one. Just 30 minutes in reading the new one a chunk of pages 10-18 have fallen out of the book. Really disappointed as I had planned to use this book all year - it’s a planting calendar but not durable at all!!! Would have been better if it was spiral bound. I honestly would prefer this info to be digital and would pay for it but the almanac empire makes you buy their printed calendars if you want the dates. (Lame) Again I will keep bc I want the moon / planting dates with gardening recommendations for the entire year that this book has and looks to be high quality info- alas the manufacturing of this book is low quality. (Good font, design, text layout) It’s based on central France as well but helps you configure for your time zone. I will have to use another calendar and tranfer what to do and when into it from this booklet. This will live on my desk with a rubberband around it - too fragile to actually use.
Like many other reviews, I’m disappointed with the binding. I almost immediately had pages falling out, and it continues to lose pages with each pages turn.Another issue I have is that the author does not consider the synodic cycle (the 29.5 day cycle where the moon waxes from new to full and wanes back to new). While, I’m definitely not an expert in moon gardening, I am a farmer who is learning and growing with permaculture practices. Every other resource on gardening with the moon advises planting and tending with the synodic cycle. Seems a bit strange.
The pages of the book began falling out on the day I received the book.
